PCDC created this interactive explorer tool that allows users to explore the primary care environment across New York State. The Workforce, Metrics by County, Access, Performance, and Health Outcomes tabs allow exploration of dynamic maps and graphs of geographic disparities at the county level.

PCDC hosted a webinar that demonstrated the features of the tool by Angela Allard, MPH, Research & Evaluation Manager, followed by a panel discussion about the relevance of this data to policymakers and clinicians and how it demonstrates the critical need to increase investment in primary care.

The panel discussion featured Joe Telano, PCDC’s Senior Policy Manager, in conversation with Eric Gayle, MD, incoming CEO of The Institute for Family Health, and Thomas Green, Ed.D., Chief Advocacy and Engagement Officer at Jordan Health, two leading Federally Qualified Health Centers in New York State.
