On February 12, 2026, the Primary Care Development Corporation (PCDC) joined 18 other members of the New York State Primary Care Coalition in sending a joint letter to Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie urging inclusion of the Primary Care Investment Act (A1915A/S1634) in the FY27 final budget. Together, we are calling on state leaders to strengthen access, stabilize the primary care workforce, and invest in the high-quality, community-based care that keeps New Yorkers healthy and thriving.
