In 2024, PCDC launched a New York State Primary Care Scorecard, which presented data about primary care in New York and highlighted the barriers, including cost and a shortage of primary care providers, that currently exist in the state. The scorecard also highlighted the significant racial and ethnic disparities in primary care-related health outcomes.
For 2025, PCDC just released an interactive online tool that allows users to explore the state of primary care in their New York county and highlights the significant geographic disparities in workforce, access, performance, and health outcomes at the county level.
