Hyanna is a business transactional attorney with experience across large firms, boutique firms, and solo practice. Originally from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, she immigrated to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, as a child. She has had the privilege of calling New York City home for the past 15 years.
Hyanna began her legal career in 2021, practicing in the real estate investments and transactions group at Ropes & Gray. She subsequently worked at the boutique firm Macklin Law, where she represented entrepreneurs in the emerging companies, hospitality, and creative industries. In 2026, Hyanna launched her solo practice, where she strives to provide artists, budding entrepreneurs, and nonprofits with accessible legal services.
Outside of her legal career, Hyanna is deeply involved in New York City’s music and arts community. For the past five years, she has worked behind the counter at a beloved Brooklyn record shop, where she organizes community events and assists with the release and distribution of rare music. Hyanna is an avid record collector and audio enthusiast. She holds a B.A. from New York University and a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
