Anne Geggie has two decades of experience in community development finance. Most recently, she was the Program Director for Strive USA, an innovative program from Mastercard’s Center for Inclusive Growth, designed to support small businesses and the ecosystem of organizations that surrounds them.

From 2020 – 2022, Anne was a Senior Director for LISC, a national nonprofit that supports community development initiatives across the country. She was responsible for the operations functions of multiple off-balance sheet loan funds, with $750 million of investments under management. This role included leading fund management for two small business loan funds, working with 12+ community development partners, and loans to more than 2,000 small businesses.

Anne has underwritten and closed $250 million in 60+ commercial real estate & affordable housing transactions. Anne’s previous roles include leading all lending efforts for a state-based CDFI in Ohio, where she expanded lending to include affordable housing and community facilities. She was also a member of the strategy team at Capital Impact Partners and led the first coordinated efforts at impact measurement, including creating initial theories of change models.

Her community leadership includes serving as board chair for PHI, a national non-profit focused on quality care for older adults by creating quality jobs for direct care workers. PHI received a $10 million grant from philanthropist MacKenzie Scott in 2022.

Anne received her BA in Economics from Wesleyan University and her MA in Economics from the University of Notre Dame.
