New York – PCDC is proud to welcome to its Board of Directors Rose Duhan, President and CEO of the Community Health Care Association of New York State (CHCANYS).

“CHCANYS and PCDC share a fundamental belief: strong, well-resourced primary care is a right, not a privilege, and should be accessible to all,” said Ms. Duhan. “I’m thrilled to join PCDC’s Board at a moment when protecting and strengthening primary care could not be more important. I look forward to sharing the experience of New York’s community health centers and working with PCDC’s leadership and fellow Board members to identify new ways to attract and retain the best providers, expand access, and build a more sustainable and equitable healthcare system.”

CHCANYS represents and supports 75 community health centers operating approximately 900 sites in medically underserved areas across New York State. Ms. Duhan also serves on the board of the National PCA Hub; the United Health Care National Federally Qualified Health Center Advisory Board, and the New York Statewide Workforce Investment Board. Prior to joining CHCANYS, she helped shape health policy at both state and local levels, in the Office of Governor Andrew M. Cuomo and Albany County’s Department of Management and Budget, as well as her work with the New York Health Plan Association and the Healthcare Association of New York State.
