This new report examines primary care access and health equity for New Yorkers in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Barriers to health care access, including cost, are associated with worse COVID-19 outcomes, and are compounded for Black and Latinx populations. We also provide recommendations to strengthen primary care and equity in Council Districts.
