Maura Harris (she/her/hers) serves as PCDC’s Policy and Advocacy Manager, working closely with senior staff to manage and expand PCDC’s local, state, and federal policy efforts. Maura joined PCDC in 2019 after five years working in primary care administration, operations, and delivery. Most recently she served as Health Advocacy Lead at Galileo, where she developed and facilitated Galileo’s community advisory board while directly managing the care of a panel of high-utilizing patients. She previously held administrative and clinical roles at One Medical. Prior to moving to New York, Maura worked at the Koegel Autism Center in Santa Barbara, California, conducting research on the Pivotal Response Treatment (PRT) technique. Maura received a BA in Sociology and a BFA in Dance from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and an MPH in Health Policy from New York University.
