Aja-Maree Smith is PCDC’s CDC Public Health Associate Program (PHAP) Evaluation and Analytics Fellow. She works in PCDC’s Strategy and Public Affairs Department supporting enterprise-wise impact evaluation and primary care access analytics for PCDC’s target markets.
Prior to joining PCDC, Aja-Maree worked at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as a Grants Administrative Assistant, where she managed sponsorships and grants processing for hundreds of Los Angeles community partners. She also supported the development of Cedars-Sinai’s Community Benefit Giving Office’s first Health Equity Evaluation Program. Aja-Maree has previously held positions in the community and behavioral health sector focusing on equitable healthcare. Prior to Cedars-Sinai, she was a Diversity and Inclusion Research Assistant at the University of California, Berkeley where she helped analyze the methods organizations use to define and implement diversity and radical inclusivity efforts internally.
Aja-Maree received her BA in Sociology from UC Berkeley and is originally from Los Angeles, CA.
