Since its launch, PCDC has played a central role in advancing HIV/AIDS services, support, and advocacy. At the height of the epidemic we were among the first to finance small organizations — many of which later became federally qualified health centers, also through PCDC’s support.
Today, our multifaceted offerings lend to helping organizations achieve an overall commitment: ending the HIV epidemic. In addition to capital investment and technical assistance projects nationwide, our specialized work includes free capacity building (funded by the CDC) and trainings for ASOs/CBOs most in need of HIV-related help (funded by HRSA).
These and other PCDC initiatives continue a legacy of lasting change, particularly in underserved and underinvested communities.
