PCDC was recently named a 2019 recipient of the Advanced Primary Care Practice Award, bestowed by the Primary Care Collaborative (PCC) in Washington, D.C.
The award recognizes PCDC’s “exemplary capacity building and capital investment services to primary care
providers, particularly those serving the safety net,” according to the official announcement.

Also honored was Christopher Koller, a PCDC Board member and President and CEO of Milbank Memorial Fund, for his “multi-decade record of promoting and supporting the value of primary care,” PCC said. Koller received the Barbara Starfield Primary Care Leadership Award.

“We appreciate our honorees’ efforts to re-orient our health care system toward primary care and to address the needs of our nation’s most vulnerable patients, including those who are struggling with addiction,” said Ann Greiner, President and CEO of PCC. “This year’s awardees are truly deserving of the honors we bestow on them.”
