HIV Prevention Capacity Building Assistance
How can we partner with you?
PCDC’s national HIP in Health Care program provides free training and technical assistance to health care organizations with the goal of expanding and improving the delivery of HIV prevention services within clinical settings. Our capacity building assistance (CBA) is focused on the core components of CDC’s High Impact Prevention strategy.
- Training – In-person trainings support CDC’s high-impact prevention strategies and are customizable to meet the specific needs of your health care organization.
- Technical Assistance – Individualized support to help health care organizations implement effective HIV prevention strategies, such as opt-out HIV testing and Preexposure Prophylaxis (PrEP). Technical assistance is provided through teleconferencing and/or onsite support.
- Effective Interventions – Effective behavioral interventions are evidence-based, support the National HIV/AIDS Strategy and high-impact prevention approaches, and have demonstrated potential to reduce new infections.
The HIP in Health Care team has also compiled resource guides for HIV prevention and care providers that are available for download in our resource library.
