Two Manhattan-based nonprofits are among recipients of national Wells Fargo Next Awards for community development financial institutions, the bank announced Sept. 27. The Primary Care Development Corp. will use its $4.25 million award to expand financing of community health centers and other primary care providers in impoverished communities outside of New York state. PCDC has helped fund 100 primary care capital projects within the state. The Corporation for Supportive Housing will receive $2 million to provide supportive housing to vulnerable people, including homeless individuals and families.
