Deal for Red Hook Center

PCDC in the News, Crain's Health Pulse, February 15, 2012

The Joseph Addabbo Family Health Center in the Red Hook section of Brooklyn acquired the South Brooklyn Health Center from New York Methodist Hospital. Financing for the $1.125 million purchase came from the Primary Care Development Corp. The hospital has operated the 44-year-old, 12,000-square-foot medical office center since 1997. The new owners plan an expansion, including new exam rooms that will accommodate an estimated increase in patient volume to 25,000 from 18,000 visits annually. The Addabbo center is licensed as an Article 28 Diagnostic and Treatment Center by the state and is a federally qualified community health center. It will continue to refer patients to Methodist.
