Low-cost financing to expand and transform primary care capacity.
Since 1993, PCDC has created an investment of more than $670 million in 115 primary care capital projects. This investment has expanded primary care access for more than 860,000 patients, improved 1.3 million square feet of space and created more than 6,700 jobs in low-income communities.
Certified as a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) by the U.S. Treasury, PCDC has experienced no loan losses in its portfolio to date, and has received an AAA+2 Performance Rating from the CDFI Assessment and Rating System. Since 2007, PCDC has served as lender coordinator to the Health Resource and Services Administration national Loan Guarantee Program. PCDC has considerable expertise in the selection of financeable primary care projects and risk management of primary care loans.
