Brian Silva

Brian joined PCDC in 2008 as a member of the Performance Improvement team, specializing in Emergency Preparedness. His work includes the Adult Care Emergency Preparedness Program (ACEPP), co-managing the Advanced Primary Care Emergency Preparedness Drills and Exercises program, and managing both the Staff Training and H1N1 POD Training Program. Prior to PCDC, Brian was an EMT and a high school teacher with emphasis on technology, staff training and pedagogy, and curriculum development. He has also worked in Operations for NYC Office of Emergency Management and is the past President of the 1,600 member student council of the International Association of Emergency Managers. Brian received an MPA in Emergency and Disaster Management from Metropolitan College of New York.
