Emily joined PCDC in 2009 and is currently responsible for the effective operations and productivity of the Capital Investment department in addition to loan origination work for primary care expansion. With 10 years of experience in investment origination, underwriting, and transaction closings, Emily supports PCDC’s financing activities for primary care facilities. Prior to joining PCDC, Emily served as Acquisitions Manager for the National Equity Fund in Los Angeles and Seattle, where she oversaw the closings of $150 million in affordable housing investments benefiting low-income individuals and households, and as Program Manager for the Asian Pacific Health Care Venture, managing a collaborative of community-based organizations serving the Asian & Pacific Islander communities of greater Los Angeles County. In 2012 Emily was appointed to the Opportunity Finance Network's Board Governance Committee, and she has also served as the Mayoral Appointee for the Housing Levy Oversight Committee for the City of Seattle. Emily received her BA and MA in Urban Planning from the University of California, Los Angeles.
