Hilda Rosario Escher

Hilda Rosario-Escher has served as President and CEO of the Ibero-American Action League since 2006, representing the leading voice of the Rochester Hispanic Community. Since 1968, the League has taken a leadership role in nurturing partnerships, services, and advocacy among the community to meet the needs of the Latinos in the Rochester area. Ms. Escher is the past President of the Rochester Psychiatric Center Board and is currently a board member with the Executive Committee for the Council of Agency Executives, University of Rochester Center for Community Health, and the Provider Council. She is the past Chair of Coordinated Care Services board of directors. Born and raised in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, Ms. Escher received her degree in sociology, education and social work from the University of Puerto Rico.
