Gary Jacobs, MPA, is Senior Vice President for Corporate Development at Universal American Corporation where he oversees the
company's government affairs and corporate development efforts. During
Mr. Jacob's tenure, Universal American has grown from a $750 million to a
$5.5 billion company, and sold its Medicare Part D division to CVS
Caremark for $1.25 billion in early 2011. Prior to Universal American,
Mr. Jacobs was President & Founder of CHCS Services, acquired by
Universal American in 2000; and Executive Director of Staff Builders
Health Care Services. He currently serves as a board member of the Coral
Springs Museum of Art, the Dean's Advisory Board at American
University's School of Public Affairs, and the executive committee of
the Patient-Centered Primary Care Collaborative (PCPCC). Mr. Jacobs
holds an MPA from American University.
